Ingredients to make Black channa chaat (expecting mother)

  • Black Channa - 1/2 kg, (boiled)
  • finely chopped onions - 3-4 medium size
  • tomato - 3-4 medium size,
  • cucumber - 2 large,
  • green chillies - 2-3 finely chopped,
  • coriander leaves - 3-4 tbsp, finely chopped.
  • oil,
  • salt to taste,
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp,
  • coriander powder - 1 tsp,
  • amchur powder - 1 tsp,
  • kasoori methi powder - 1 tsp,
  • black salt as per your need,
  • black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice of 2 lemons

How to make Black channa chaat (expecting mother)

  1. Take kadhai and add oil put cumin seeds saute until crackle. Put boiled Black Channa saute it on medium heat.
  2. Add dry masala one by one.
  3. Now saute until all dry masala mix with it well. Turn off gas.
  4. Keep this mixture aside.
  5. Now in a big bowl take finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander leaves.
  6. Mix it well lastly add lemon juice.

My Tip:

Soak channa atleast 2-3 hours before boiling as it will take less time to boil with salt and little bit of oil.
