Ingredients to make Lauki daal

  • Lauki [bottle gourd] small 2 pieces peeled
  • Arhar(tuar daal)1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • ghee 1/2tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • asafoetida a pinch

How to make Lauki daal

  1. Peel lauki and cut into 2-3 pieces
  2. Wash daal and pressure cook it by adding salt , asafoetida and turmeric powder in it.
  3. Take out lauki piece along with daal
  4. Now mash it with a spoon or grind it in mixer
  5. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix again
