ABOUT Bajra Kuler. ( For Expectant moms, kids and their grand parents) RECIPE

Bajra an iron rich food and very good in winters is roasted or you can make without roasting too ,and made Laddu by adding roasted sesame seeds, roasted Almond Powder . It is made by adding Jaggery good for expecting moms, kids and Elderly too.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bajra flour 1 cup.
  2. Ghee 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup( if needed.
  3. Jaggery 1/2 cup. Or Powdered Sugar 1/2 cup.
  4. Sesame seeds roasted coarsely. 2 tbsp
  5. Roasted Almonds coarsely ground 2 tbsp.
  6. Dry ginger powder 1/2 tsp.
  7. Cardemom powder 1 /2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast Bajra flour for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Some people make this without roasting flour too.
  3. Let it cool.
  4. Now add coarse grounded Sesame seeds and Almond powder.
  5. Add grated jaggery. Add cardemom powder and dry ginger powder.
  6. Now heat ghee and add to the flour.
  7. Mix thoroughly and make Kuler laddus.
  8. Give this nutritious Kuler to Expecting mother, Kids and Elderly too.
