ABOUT Cake pops RECIPE

Cake chunks coated with chocolate ganache and colorful sprinklers. My secret ingredient for cake is ice-cream.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For cake
  2. All purpose flour 3/4 cup
  3. Corn flour 1 tbsp
  4. Baking powder 1/2 tesp
  5. Baking soda 1/2 tesp
  6. Yellow food color a pinch
  7. Castor sugar 1 tbsp
  8. Butterscotch ice cream 1 cup
  9. For chocolate ganache
  10. Dark chocolate 1/2 cup
  11. Cream 1/2 cup
  12. Colorful sprinklers half cup

Instructions

  1. Seive together all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, corn flour and castor sugar.
  2. Mix softened ice cream in flour mixture.
  3. Pour the batter in a greased small cake mould.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes at 180 degree.
  5. Cool the cake and cut into thin slices.
  6. Cut the slices into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Heat cream and pour it over chopped dark chocolate.
  8. Mix to a smooth paste.
  9. Insert toothpick in cake shapes.
  10. Dip each cake chunk in chocolate ganache, drip and roll in colorful sprinklers.
