Veg pizza dosa is a treat for eyes and tummy. A simple recipe loaded with veggies and cheese cannot be missed for a party. I add garam masala, secret ingredient for a desi feel and it never disappoints. This recipe stands equal to the usual pizza when it's cooked perfectly and this has now become a default menu in our home for our friends get together. Let's see how to make this simple and rich pizza dosa

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Dosa batter
  2. Pizza sauce - few tablespoons
  3. Onion - 1 medium finely chopped
  4. Mixed veggies (corn, red, yellow, green capsicum) - 1 cup
  5. Mozzarella cheese grated - 1/2 cup
  6. Garam masala - 1/4 table spoon
  7. Pepper - 1/4 tablespoon
  8. Salt - as per taste
  9. Italian mixed herbs - 1/4 tablespoon
  10. Oil - for topping


  1. Keep the dosa batter ready. Take one cup of mixed veggies ( I used corn, capsicum, red and yellow bell pepper finely chopped).
  2. Sprinkle garam masala, salt, pepper, italian herbs to the veggies and keep aside
  3. Place dosa tawa in medium flame and pour a laddle of batter and make a thin dosa
  4. Sprinkle oil all over and cook it by keeping it covered for a minute
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dosa, add onions, veggies and mozzarella cheese over it
  6. Close it with a lid and cook it in low flame for 4 to 5 minutes
  7. Once the cheese starts melting, open the lid and check if the base of the dosa is crispy. If not, keep it in high flame for 20 - 40 seconds
  8. Yummy pizza dosa is ready. Cut into 4 pieces and serve it hot.
