ABOUT Shrikhand eggless sponge cake RECIPE

This cake contains a secret ingredient Shrikhand.It's an eggless vanilla sponge cake but adding plain sour curd Shrikhand is added.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. All purpose flour 220grams
  2. Shrikhand 350grams
  3. Butter 100 grams
  4. Baking powder 2teaspoon
  5. Baking soda 1teaspoon
  6. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  7. Castor sugar 150grams
  8. Milk 200 to 215 ml

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree centigrade.
  2. Cream butter, sugar and Shrikhand and cream well. It may look curdled. No worries.
  3. Sift all the dry ingredients well.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  5. Add vanilla essence and fold gently.
  6. Pour in a greasing pan using parchment paper.
  7. Bake it for 30 minutes.
  8. Secret Shrikhand eggless sponge cake is ready.
