ABOUT Kala chana salad on Canapes RECIPE

Its a combination of mumbaiya ishtyle murmura bhel and salad served on canapes/monitas. Easy and healthy snack to munch on when you are hungry.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soaked and boiled kale chane 4 tsp (prepared one day beforehand)
  2. Boiled potatoes 2 tsp
  3. Onion finely chopped 2 tsp
  4. Tomatoes chopped 2 tsp
  5. Cucumber chopped 2 tsp
  6. Baked monitas/canap:copyright:s 8
  7. Masala moongfali 2 tsp
  8. Murmure 3 tbsp
  9. Chaat masala 1 tsp
  10. Jeera powder 1 tsp
  11. Fresh coriander chopped 1 tsp
  12. Mint leaves chopped 1 tsp
  13. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  14. Dhania pudina chutney 3 tsp
  15. Imli khajoor ki chutney 2 tsp
  16. Pomegranate to garnish
  17. Sev to garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak and boil kale chane with salt beforehand.
  2. Chop boiled potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber and onion. Sprinkle chat masala and jeera powder.
  3. Now assemble canapes/monitas. Here I have used readymade baked canapes, easily available in the market. I feel its better than deep fried monitas. Or else you can bake monitas at home in an OTG.
  4. First in the bottom put boiled kale chane. Top it with potato, tomato, cucumber and murmure. Sprinkle some chaat masala over it. Now add masala moongfali. Add chopped dhania pudina leaves.
  5. Now drizzle dhania pudina chutney over it. Pour imli ki chutney. Garnish with sev. Put some coriander leaves over it to decorate.
  6. Enjoy your healthy snacky chaat with hot cup of cofee or Tea.
