Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Atta 3 cup
  2. Besan 1 cup
  3. 1 cup ghee
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Moong dal 1/2 cup
  6. Arhar dal 1/2 cup
  7. Haldi 1tsp
  8. Garlic 2tbsp
  9. Ginger 2 tbsp
  10. Zeera 1.5 tbsp
  11. Dhania leaves 1/2cup
  12. Red chilly powder 1 tsp
  13. Ajwain 1/4 tsp
  14. Ginger chopped 1 inch
  15. Peas 1 cup
  16. Paneer cubes 1 tbsp
  17. Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  18. Hing 1 tsp


  1. Take a cooker mix both dals ,haldi,salt,2 cup water make 1 whistle.
  2. For baati Take a bowl add besan,atta,salt,ajwain,1/2 cup ghee mix it well.
  3. For stuffing Take a kadayi add ghee,adrak saute for a min. Now add peas,salt,pepper cook till peas gets soft at last add paneer cubes.you can add saunf too for the flavour.
  4. Now take a dough add stuffing make a ball as shown in pi
  5. Preheat the tandoor add it in tandoor keep fliping it after 2 min break for 10 min.
  6. Now for dal tadka Take gud amount of ghee approx 1/2 cup add 1 tsp hing,ginger,garlic saute for 3 min now add haldi,lal mirch,dhania leaves,salt saute for 2 min and add in the dal. Ypu can add sabut lal mirch for more spicyness.
  7. When baati is done take a napkin press gently and add it in warm ghee for a min and take it out. Serve with baati.
