Ingredients to make Puri

  • Refind oil or Cooking oil : 3 tsp + for frying
  • wheat flour : required amount
  • water
  • salt

How to make Puri

  1. Pour the Wheat flour and salt into a bowl and mix well.
  2. Sprinkle water little by little and oil to make a soft dough.
  3. Cover the dough and set aside at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into a small balls and roll out into a circle. Heat a heavy frying pan or tawa, over medium heat.
  5. Place puri in oil, press on top till flffy, flip over and cook for 5 sec.
  6. Serve with potato masal, sambar or chutney.
