Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Thick poha (mota chura) - 1 cup
  2. Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  3. Green chilly chopped - 1-2
  4. Finely chopped onion - 1
  5. Small diced potato - 1
  6. Green peas - 2 tbsp
  7. Small diced carrot - 2 tbsp
  8. Small diced capsicum - 2 tbsp
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  10. Curry leaves - 7-8
  11. Salt - to taste
  12. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  13. Oil - 2 tbsp
  14. Sugar - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Soak poha and cover it for half an hour
  2. Heat oil in a pan
  3. . Put the mustard seeds to crackle.
  4. .Add onion and potato and saute for one to two mins
  5. Add carrot,green peas and capsicum and mix well.
  6. . Add curry leaves, turmeric powder and green chily and saute for 5-6 minutes.
  7. Add poha and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. . When poha gets ready, mix sugar and lemon juice and serve in the break fast.
