Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup roasted sooji ( samolina)
  2. 3/4 cup yogurt
  3. 1/2 tsp Oregano
  4. Pinch of sugar
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1, tsp roasted chana dal
  7. 4 or5 tbls green chutney
  8. 1 tbl eno salt
  9. 2,tbls chopped carrot
  10. 2 tbls chopped capsicum
  11. 2tbls chopped cauliflower
  12. 1 tsp coriander leaves
  13. 1 tsp curry leaves and green chilli paste

Instructions

  1. Step _ Take a bowl mix sooji, yogurt, curry leaves, green chilli padte, coriander leaves, chana dal, sugar, salt and oregano mix well make a thick batter , if required add little water.
  2. Step _ Boil 2 or 3 cups of water in a steamer place a ring mould in it
  3. Step _ grease thali or any steel utensil
  4. Step _ mix eno in suji batter stir properly and pour half of batter on grease thali.
  5. Step _ spread chopped vegetablesband green chutney on it.
  6. Step _ pour left over sooji batter on vegetablesvand chutney for second layer and sprinkle some grated carrot and chopped capsicum on top.
  7. Step _ place the thali in steamer over ring mould for steaming , cover the lid and let cook for 18 to 20 min.
  8. Serve hot with green chutney and hot tea.
