ABOUT Chicken Shaami Kabaabs.. RECIPE

A famous kabaab recipe from Hyderabad made with chicken as a twist by me. The entire process remains the same only with chicken as an extra addition to it. These are yummy and absolutely delectable. These can be used in wraps and rolls too.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Chicken boneless 400 gm
  2. Onion chopped large 1
  3. Bengal gram or chana dal 1/4th cup
  4. oil 2 tbsp
  5. Salt 1 tbsp
  6. GARAM MASALA 1 TBSP
  7. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  8. green chillies 3
  9. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  10. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  11. Coriander leaves chopped 1/4th cup
  12. Mint leaves chopped 1/4th cup
  13. Extra oil for shallow frying 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a cooking pot.
  2. You can pressure cook it for decreasing the cooking time further.
  3. Cover and simmer on medium heat until cooked for 15 minutes.
  4. Do not add any water to it.
  5. Let it cool down a bit.
  6. Grind into a smooth paste and shape into round patties.
  7. Shallow fry with oil.
  8. Serve hot with parathas or any bread for breakfast.
