ABOUT Mustard Rice RECIPE

This is my favourite breakfast which I usually cook .I always have steamed rice in my fridge.I just toss this n enjoyyy. It is best breakfast recipe to use your leftover rice.This recipe is special as my dadi used to make it for me.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Steamed plain rice 1 bowl
  2. oil 2 tbsp
  3. Mustard seeds 2 tsps
  4. green chillies finely chopped 2
  5. coriander leaves to garnish
  6. salt to taste
  7. red chilli pwd 2 tsps
  8. 1 tsp turmeric pwd

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds.
  3. When mustard seeds crackle add green chillies.
  4. Add rice .
  5. Add salt,red chilli pwd, turmeric powder.
  6. Toss well .
  7. Cook for few min by sprinkling few drops of water.
  8. Serve hot with papad and lemon.
