ABOUT Soru chakli RECIPE

It's a bengali traditional dish and a winter speciality. It's a crepe kind of food.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Flour - 200gm
  2. Cooking soda - a pinch
  3. Rice flour - 200gm
  4. Sugar - 1 cup
  5. Salt - a pinch
  6. Saunf - 1 tbsp
  7. Milk or butter milk - 1lt
  8. Ghee - as required
  9. Gur - as required
  10. Coconut shavings- as required

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add flour, rice flour, cooking soda, sugar, salt and Saunf.
  2. Now mix it well for 5 mins
  3. Add a little milk or butter milk in the mixture and fold it.
  4. Continue pour little little amount of milk or butter milk and fold it.
  5. Continue the process till it comes out as a thin
  6. Take a frying pan
  7. Add ghee
  8. Take a full spoon of batter and spread it to the pan
  9. Fry both sides till it became golden brown and crisp
  10. Serve hot with Gur and coconut shavings
