Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cumin Seeds 1/2 table spoon
  2. Mustard seeds 1/2 table spoon
  3. Methi 1/4 tea spoon
  4. Black gram 1 Cup
  5. Onions 3 large
  6. Tomoto 3 large
  7. Green chilli 2
  8. Red chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
  9. Sambar powder as per availability 1 tea spoon
  10. Curry leaves
  11. Corriander leaves
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. Turmeric powder
  14. Tamarind soak in water
  15. Urad Dal
  16. Oil 2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat the Kadai add Cumin, mustard and methi seeeds as well dry roast it for 2 min and blend it fine powder
  2. Now Take a pressure cooker pour water and add Cup of soaked Black gram , Green chilli, Onions, Tomatoes,Turmeric powder and add little bit of oil and check water according to ur cooker then keep 3 to 4 whistles
  3. After the cooker pressure was gone , mash the content in cooker in to smooth paste and add tamarind Water and check the consistency of Sambar
  4. Now add Masala powder we done at first step , Chilli powder and Sambar powder and put one more Whistle
  5. For tempering, add oil in kadai put Mustard seeds , Urad dal and Curry leaves
  6. After one whistle add this pampering to Sambar and Corriander
  7. Your delicious Sambar is ready , try it in your home
