ABOUT Bread Alloo Tikki. RECIPE

A quick recipe of aloo tikkis, which can be even served for breakfast with some chutney or ketchup on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 boil potatoes
  2. 4 slices bread
  3. Salt
  4. 1/4tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1/4tsp chat masala.
  6. Oil.

Instructions

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes.
  2. Add salt, chilly powder and chaat masala. Mix well.
  3. Wet the bread slices in water and squeeze out the excess water. Crumble and these slices into the potatoes. mix well.
  4. Knead a dough out the mashed mixture. Shape them into tikkis.
  5. Heat a non stick tawa with some oil.
  6. Now place the tikkis onto the tawa, cook them on both sides until golden brown in color on both sides .
  7. Serve with chutney.
