Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup yellow dry peas
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. 1/4 tsp turmeric pow
  5. 1/2 tsp dhaniya pow
  6. 1/2 tsp grammasala
  7. 2 tbsp Green chatni
  8. 2 tbsp tarmarind chatni
  9. 2 tbsp thik curd
  10. 2 tbsp besan sev
  11. salt
  12. oil


  1. Soak peas for 5/6 hour
  2. In cookar add peas ,water salt and pressure cook for 2/3 whistle
  3. Heat pan with oil. Crackle jeera, saute onion til they become light brown,then add the ginger and garlic paste sauté them for few seconds.  Finally add the rest of the spice powders and give it a stir. Cook till the raw smell goes away
  4. At this stage add the soaked dried green peas and give it a stir and cook for some minute
  5. Serve in bowl and garnish with green chutney, curd, tarmarind chutney,green coriander onion and besan sev
