ABOUT Papad layerd paratha RECIPE

This is a little different approach to a tasty paratha, stuffed parathas with a crunchy roasted papad and spice filling, to be served on its own.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  2. Clarified butter - 4 tbsp
  3. Papad - 2
  4. Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Chat masala - 1/4 tsp
  6. Chopped green chilly - 1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  8. Salt - a pinch

Instructions

  1. Roast the papad and crush it.
  2. Take a bowl add crushed papad,red chilly powder.green chilly,chat masala,coriander leaves and salt.
  3. Make a soft dough of wheat flour with the help of water.
  4. Then roll out the thick paratha.
  5. Spread the clarified butter and cut into square shape of the paratha.
  6. Add the crushed papad mixture in one of the square and cover with other square. Now put the crushed papad mixture and cover it.
  7. Repeat the same process.
  8. Dust the wheat flour in the last square and roll out the parathsa
  9. Heat non stick pan.
  10. Cook on hot pan applying clarified butter till both the sides are cooked and golden brown in color
  11. First one mins cook in high flame. then in low flame
  12. Serve hot with Chutney
