ABOUT CORN & POTATO PARATHA RECIPE

We all love to eat aloo parathas.. for a change I just added some corn. Parathas with any kind of filling make a complete meal. Just serve with curd and pickle.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Ghee / oil ... 2 tbsps
  3. Ajwain ....... 1/4 tsp
  4. salt ........... to taste
  5. (For the Filling:)
  6. Sweet corn ... 1/2 cup
  7. Potatoes ...... 2-3
  8. Green chillies ... 1-2
  9. Garam masala ..1/2 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder ... 1/4 tsp
  11. Coriander leaves .. handful
  12. Amchoor powder .. 1/2 tsp
  13. Salt .. to taste
  14. Oil to make parathas

Instructions

  1. Knead the dough for parathas and set it aside.
  2. Boil the potatoes, mash them and set aside. Boil the sweet corn and crush it slightly. You can use the ready corn from the tins. Mix all the spices, salt, green chillies and coriander to make the filling.
  3. Roll out 2 small rotis. Spread the filling on one and place the other on the top.
  4. Press the edges and seal them.
  5. Roll out again lightly.
  6. Roast it on the griddle / tawa adding little ghee or oil to make it crisp.
