ABOUT Spanish potato Omlette RECIPE

Spanish potato omlette of Fritata is a very filling breakfast made with onion, potato and eggs. This is my version of making it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Potatoes 2 no
  2. Eggs 4 no
  3. Onion 1 large
  4. Butter 1 tbsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Black pepper 1 Tbsp
  7. Green chilli 1 no (optional)
  8. Coriender leaves 1 tbsp


  1. Peel potatoes and cut the slices in 1/2 cm
  2. Chop onion or cut into slices
  3. Finely chop the green chilli and coriander leaves.
  4. Now take a pan ,add in oil or butter add slices of potatoes ,saute & cook till half done
  5. Then add in onion saute well for 1 to 2 min
  6. Now add green chilli and coriander leaves ,salt and black pepper .mix well
  7. Now crack the eggs in a big bowl ,add salt and pepper ,whisk well.
  8. heat another pan with some more oil, pour half egg batter then put potatoes mixture on it and spread it evenly.
  9. Now add remaining egg batter on potato mixture put on lid and cook for 1 min
  10. Now flip the omlette very carefully , cook for few seconds more.
  11. This is ready to be served, cut this into slices and serve hot.
