ABOUT Dhokla RECIPE

Dhokla is a famous traditional dish from Gujrat and is one of my favourite breakfast recipes, so here is a quick method of making it at home.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chickpea flour 2 cup
  2. Yogurt 1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Ginger chilly paste 1 spoon
  6. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  7. Baking Soda 1 tsp
  8. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  9. Fresh coriander 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1 chick flick chickpea flour in a bowl and yoghurt in one cup of water and mix avoid love sad salt and mix again.
  2. Keep aside for 3 hours.
  3. Then add turmeric powder ,ginger chilli paste.
  4. Heat the steamer.grease a thali.
  5. In a small bowl take lemon juice,baking soda,1 spoon oil and mix.
  6. Pour batter into the greased thali.
  7. Cover with lid, stem for 10 minutes.
  8. Heat oil in a pan.add mustard seeds and pour over the dhoklas.
