Ingredients to make Moong pakwan

  • wheat flour 3 cups
  • rice flour 1 cup
  • salt
  • oil 2 tspn
  • tamarind pulp
  • redchilly pwdr 1 tspn
  • black pepper pwdr 1tspn
  • chopped onions 2
  • coriander
  • mint
  • lemon 1/2
  • garlic cloves 3
  • cumin seeds 1 tbspn
  • salt
  • moong 3 cups soaked in water for 10 hours
  • salt
  • turmeric pwdr 1/2 tspn

How to make Moong pakwan

  1. Boil moong with salt and turmeric powder with 4 glass water
  2. For chutney grind coriander mint cumin seeds green chillies garlic cloves salt lemon and water well in mixture.
  3. Now knead a dough for puri.after rolling a each puri tap it with your rolling pin and then fry it.
  4. Now in a bowl place boiled moong then crushed puri.Drizzle tamarind pulp then green chutney sprinkle black pepper powder redchilly powder.Lastly add chopped onions to it..

My Tip:

moong should be burst completely nd it should should have loose consistency with much water as puri absorbs liquid
