Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice 1 cup
  2. 1/2 cup fresh curd
  3. oil 1 to 2 tbsp
  4. peanut 8-10
  5. cumin seeds 1 tsp
  6. 1tsp mustard seeds
  7. 1 tsp urad dal 1tsp
  8. Curry leaves 4 to 5
  9. green chilly 1
  10. Green coriander

Instructions

  1. Clean rice and soak them in water for half an hour before cooking.Place soaked rice in pressure cooker and add 2 cup water into it.Close the pressure cooker with lid and cook until it simmers once.Turn off the flame. After all steam escapes, open the lid and check the rice.Soft rice are ready. Take out rice in any big bowl. Take some ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilly and asafoetida. add peanut, urad dal into it. Keep stirring constantly and saute until urad dal turns brown. Tadka for rice is ready.
  2. When rice cool down a bit, add curd, salt and green coriander into it and mix well.Also, add the tadka and mix all ingredients really well. serve immediately
