It is very spicy and crispy snack. It also serve as a side dish along with lunch or dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For batter:
  2. Beasn 1 cup
  3. Rice flour 4 tablespoon
  4. Kasoori methi 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Red chili powder 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Dry mango powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Oil 1 teaspoon
  11. Water for making batter
  12. For stuffing:
  13. Potatoes 2 boiled and mashed
  14. Onion 1/2 chopped finely
  15. Ginger 1/4 teaspoon chopped
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Coriander leaves 1/2 teaspoon chopped
  18. Other:
  19. Moti mirchi 8 ( deseeded)
  20. Refined oil for frying


  1. First make a batter mixing all the ingredients of batter. Batter is of normal consistency.
  2. Now make stuffing. Mix all the ingredients.
  3. Put a pan and add oil for frying. Now stuff the chillies with stuffing.
  4. Dip the stuffed chillies into besan batter and leave in oil for frying.
  5. Fry from all sides. Your stuffed mirchi bajji is ready.
