Moong Sprout Sandwich.

Ingredients to make Moong Sprout Sandwich.

  • 1 cup boiled moong sprout
  • 2 tbsp oil/low fat butter
  • 6 bread
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1-2 finely chopped green chilli
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp pavbhaji masala
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1/2 cup corainder chutney

How to make Moong Sprout Sandwich.

  1. Heat the oil in a pan
  2. Add chopped onion and saute for a minute till they turn translucent
  3. Add chopped green chill saute well
  4. Now add chopped tomato.
  5. Add haldi powder,jeera powder,pavbhaji masala,red chill powder salt and saute for a minute.
  6. Add moong and mix well and cook on a medium flame.
  7. Mash moong a little with the help of masher.
  8. Add finely chopped coriander
  9. Mixture is ready.
  10. Apply 1/4 tsp butter/oil on each Bread slice.
  11. Apply some green chutney on each Bread slice.
  12. Spread some green chutney on each bread slice.
  13. Spread sprout mixture on bread and place another bread slice on it.
  14. Repeat same step for making more sandwich.
  15. Now heat the nonstick toaster.
  16. Place the sandwich in toaster and toast till golden.
  17. Serve hot with green chutney.

My Tip:

Do not over boiled the moong.
