Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup- oatmeal (1 cup= 175 ml)
  2. ½ cup- whole wheat flour
  3. 4 teaspoons - saffola/olive oil
  4. 3 teaspoons- hung curd
  5. 4 tsp- raw cane sugar (add more for a sweeter version)
  6. Nuts of your choice
  7. pinch of rock salt/normal salt
  8. Cinnamon and fennel powder or any natural flavor that you like

Instructions

  1. Whisk together hung curd and oil until light and fluffy.
  2. Add salt, raw cane sugar, and spices and whisk again. It should get fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, sift the flours 2-3 times. This helps in better baking.
  4. Mix wet with dry ingredients. Do not overdo. We are not going to knead the dough. Just gather all ingredients.
  5. Add slivered nuts and mix again with hands. Remember, do not knead the dough. Else, you will not get crunchy bites. Keep aside covered for half an hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  7. I have made these in airfryer, so preheat your airfryer for 5 mins at 170 degrees.
  8. Check the cookie dough. Roll it out into a thick chapati and make cookie shapes with a small bangle or cookie cutter.
  9. Bake or airfry for 12-15 mins at 170 degrees.
  10. Allow the baked beauties to cool down before munching on them.
