ABOUT Mawa Adadiya pak RECIPE

Adadiya is a very famous Kathiyawadi sweet which has the lots of jadibutii/medicinal ingredients like edible gum, ganthoda powder, Ginger powder ,nutmeg powder it has a lots of dry fruits and ghee and urad dal flour and its also made with Mawa in it. it's very delicious sweet and also, it is very good for our joints and lots of medicinal uses. people of Gujarat make these adadiya during winter time. so, it's keeps our body warm and healthy too.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 bowl /cup urad dal flore
  2. 1/2 cup mawa
  3. 3/4 Cup clarified butter/ ghee
  4. 1/4 cup Milk
  5. 1/4 cup ghee/melted clarified butter
  6. 1/2 cup edible gum
  7. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  8. 2 tablespoon pista
  9. 3 tbsp shredded almond
  10. 1 cup powder sugar
  11. More Pistachio and Almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Take urad dal flour in mixing bowl add one fourth Cup milk and one fourth Cup ghee mix well .add mawa and mix and sieve then keep aside.
  2. Heat clarified butter in a pan and fry edible gum/gond /gundar then Crush it and keep aside.
  3. Now heat one cup clarified butter in a frying pan add urad dal flour Mawa keep staring continuously please leave the side of a pen
  4. Now add edible gum mix it and continuously stir till its become Brown hand release the ghee. Now switch off the gas .
  5. Now add nutmeg powder, Gunthoda powder ,Ginger powder and mix it. Keep aside for 5 minutes.
  6. Add one cup powdered sugar and little ghee then mix.
  7. Grease the plate with ghee and pour this mixture and flatten it. Garnish with almond and pistachio. Set for 30 minutes in fridge.cut in square and keep it in airtight container.
