ABOUT Bindi pachadi. ( ladies finger ) RECIPE

Ladies finger is full of fiber, calcium & vitamins. An ideal veg to take during pregnancy. This is a sidedish with ladies finger & curd that goes well with rice. We can use beetroot , carrot, bitter gourd , cucumber ,small onion, veg like that to make the same pachadi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. bindi 10 cut into small pieces.
  2. chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  3. Turmeric 2 pinch
  4. Salt
  5. oil to fry
  6. Curd 1/2 cup
  7. grated coconut 1/4 cup
  8. Green Chillies 2
  9. mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  10. Salt
  11. For Seasoning
  12. mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  13. Red chilli 1
  14. Curry leaves a few
  15. Oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. marinate bindi with chilli powder , turmerc & salt. keep aside for sometime.
  2. heat a pan with oil. put bindi & fry. not so crispy.
  3. grind coconut, green chillies & mustard seeds. with curd.
  4. add to the fried bindi. if u want u can add some water.
  5. In a pan , heat 1 tbsp oil for tempering. put mustard seeds , red chilli & curry leaves. add to the bindi mixture. add salt.
