ABOUT Falafel burger RECIPE

Falafels are very popular mediterranean dish and i have incorporated them to make some delicious burgers, a very healthy option as well.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Buns 4
  2. Soaked and boiled chickpeas... 1 cup
  3. Bread crumbs... As required
  4. Mayonnaise... 1 table spoons
  5. Tomato sauce... 1 table spoon
  6. Salt, black pepper and oregano to taste
  7. Butter for buns... As required
  8. Oil for frying tikkis... As required

Instructions

  1. Take boiled chickpeas, mash them mix bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Mix and make tikkis in the size of buns
  2. Mix mayonnaise, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and oregano or any herb can be used.
  3. Make a slit in buns and on a tawa, cook buns using butter. Now apply mayonnaise mix on these buns and keep aside
  4. Now cook tikkis either by deep or shallow frying
  5. Keep tikkis on buns and serve
