Delicious dhokla in 3 colors with the goodness of vegetables in them, a perfect breakfast for all occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Rava - 1 cup
  2. Curd - 1/2 cup
  3. Chopped spinach - 1 cup
  4. Chopped carrot - 1 cup
  5. Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  6. Salt - to taste
  7. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  8. Rai/black mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  9. Curry leaves - 10
  10. Green chilly - 6
  11. Oil - 1 tbsp .
  12. Eno fruit salt - 1 tbsp


  1. Blanch the spinach and grind to make a smooth paste.
  2. Grind the carrot and make a smooth paste.
  3. Take a large bowl combine rava,curd,salt,sugar,lemon juice and one tbsp oil and one cup of water an
  4. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  5. Add eno fruit salt in the rava batter just before making dhokla and mix it well
  6. Divide the batter into three parts.
  7. Add spinach puree in the one part and carrot paste in the second part.
  8. Firstly pour the spinach batter in the greased plate and secondly pour the white rava batter and now at the top pour the carrot rava batter
  9. Steam for 10 mins.
  10. Heat oil in a pan and add the rai/black mustard seeds once it gets crackled and then add the curry leaves and green chilly.
  11. Pour it over the dhokla and cut into cubes.
  12. Enjoy tri color dhokla with coconut chutney
