Ingredients to make Fresh Ajwain/ Carom Leaves Fritters

  • chickpeas flour 1 cup
  • Omam leaves/ajwain 5-6
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • chilli powder 2 tsp
  • Rice flour 2 tsp
  • Cooking soda 1 tsp
  • hing (optional)
  • salt as required
  • oil as required

How to make Fresh Ajwain/ Carom Leaves Fritters

  1. Pluck the leaves from the plant.wash it well.
  2. In bowl add besan flour,salt,rice flour,Hing,cooking soda, little water.mix together to make a batter( like bajji batter)
  3. In pan heat oil.Dip the karpooravalli leaves in the bajji batter and drop it in the oil. Repeat the same and drop 3-4 bajji.
  4. Cook both sides.cook in medium flame
  5. Healthy ajwain bajji/fritters is ready to serve with sauce.
