This is very tasty &healthy recipe. It have low cholesterol &high fiber

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rawa or sooji 500 gm
  2. Curd 1 cup
  3. Eno
  4. Salt to taste.
  5. For Sambhar: -
  6. 1 cup tuhar dal
  7. Bottle gouard 1 2
  8. Tomato 2
  9. Tamrind chutney 1 tbsp
  10. Green Chilli 2
  11. Ghee or butter 4tbsp
  12. Mustard seed 1tbsp
  13. Turmeric powder 1/4tbsp TBSP
  14. Red chilli powder 1/2tbsp
  15. Sambhar masala 1tbsp
  16. Sugar 1/2TBSP
  17. Curry leaf 8


  1. Make a batter using rawa,curd,required water &salt. rest 10 minutes
  2. Cook dal in pressure cooker with salt &1tbsp ghee till 2 whistles are attained.
  3. After 10 minutes , grease idli moulds put eno into the batter and fold in.
  4. Pour batter in moulds and cook for 10 minutes on a medium flame
  5. After 2 whistles, check dal, grind it.
  6. Heat a wok , add butter ,after that add mustard seeds ,curry leaves. when it crackles add all veggies. Saute for 5 minutes on medium flame
  7. Add spices, pour dal on it .
  8. Add spices and tamarind chutney. Add sugar
  9. Cook for 5 minutes on medium flame .garnish with coriander leaves.
