Ingredients to make Hyderabadi Majestic Chicken

  • Marination Ingredients:
  • Chopped garlic (1 tbsp)
  • red chilli powder (1 tsp)
  • jeera powder (1/2 tsp)
  • coriander powder (1 tsp)
  • yogurt (2 tbsp)
  • salt
  • Soy sauce (2 tsp)
  • Ajinamoto (1/2 tsp)
  • pudina leaves (7-8)
  • curry leaves (10)
  • Slitted green chillies (6)
  • Boneless chicken (500 gm)
  • buttermilk (6 tbsp)
  • salt
  • pepper (1 tsp)
  • Ginger-garlic paste (2 tsp)
  • egg (1)
  • cornflour (3 tbsp)
  • Tempering:
  • Refined oil as required

How to make Hyderabadi Majestic Chicken

  1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk, salt and pepper for 30 minutes.
  2. Now remove the chicken from the 1st marinated ingredients and add the rest of the marination ingredients to it. Leave it aside for few hours.
  3. Heat oil and deep fry the chicken pieces. Keep it aside.
  4. To temper, heat some oil in a pan, add the chopped garlic, once their aroma fills the room, add the curry leaves, pudina leaves and green chillies. Stir it for a few seconds and add the powdered masalas.
  5. Now add the yogurt and salt, followed by soy sauce and ajinamoto. Stir it for 2 minutes and add the fried chicken. Coat them well and serve.
