ABOUT Veg Lebanese Salad RECIPE

This is a very yummy and fulfilling salad recipe. This is one of the comfort food which i eat when i want to skip my any one time meal be it lunch or dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Chickpeas (boiled)- 1 cup
  2. Cottage cheese (paneer) - 1/2 cup (cut into cubes)
  3. Cucumber - 1 (peeled, washed and cut into cubes)
  4. Tomatoes- 1 ( washed and cut into cubes)
  5. Fresh green mint leaves - 1/4 cup (washed and chopped)
  6. Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  7. Olive oil - 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Black pepper powder to taste
  10. Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
  11. Bread croutons - 5 to 6 pieces ( used for garnishing at the time of serving)

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl.
  2. Add all the ingredients in a bowl except croutons.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add croutons at the time of serving
  5. Croutons adds to the crunchiness in this salad.
  6. Fresh green mint leaves enhances the flavour of this salad.
  7. You can add finely chopped spring onions white portion or normal onions as well to the salad.
  8. Instead of cottage cheese can also be added.
  9. Enjoy.
