Tadka Masala Idlis

Ingredients to make Tadka Masala Idlis

  • 1 cup suji (semolina)
  • 1 cup curd
  • salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 sachet eno.
  • 1/4tsp sugar.
  • For tempering.
  • 2tsp oil
  • 1/4tsp mustard seeds
  • 10 kari patta.
  • 1 onion.
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 capsicum
  • 2 green chillies
  • salt
  • 1/4tsp red chilli.

How to make Tadka Masala Idlis

  1. Make a batter with semolina and curd.
  2. Add salt, sugar and oil to the mixture. Mix well so that there are no lumps.
  3. Mix well
  4. Rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Grease the moulds of the idli maker.
  6. Add eno to the batter and fold in.
  7. Pour the batter into the moulds. Steam them.
  8. Demould the idlis and slice them into halves.
  9. Heat oil in a pan
  10. Add mustard seeds, and let them splutter.
  11. Add kari patta
  12. Put all cut veggies in it.
  13. Mix salt and red chilli.
  14. Nw add idlis & stir well.
  15. Serve with ketchup.
