ABOUT Jumbo Tandoori Paneer Sago Patty Burger RECIPE

In this recipe I have paired up crispy fried tapioca pearl patties with succulent panner cubes marinated in spicy tandoori masala... So this burger is pure Indian take over from other burger recipes.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. TANDOORI PANEER: Paneer 100 gm
  2. Mustard oil 1 tsp
  3. Tandoori spice mix 1 tsp
  4. Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  6. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. SAGO PATTIES: Sabudana/Tapioca pearls 1/2 cup
  9. Potato 1, boiled
  10. Crushed peanuts 1/3 cup
  11. Fresh coriander, chopped 1/4 cup
  12. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  13. Chopped green chilli 1 tsp
  14. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  15. Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Oil, for frying
  18. TOPPINGS: burger buns 4 pc
  19. Tomato slices, few
  20. Onion slices, few
  21. Cucumber slices, few
  22. Salad greens, few
  23. Cheese slices 4
  24. Chopped peanuts 2 tbsp
  25. Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. SAGO PATTIES: Wash and soak sabudana for 4-6 hours.
  2. Mix together sabudana, boiled potatoe, crushed peanuts, green chilli, coriander, lemon juice and seasonings.
  3. Divide mixture in 8 equal portions and form patties.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil until golden.
  5. TANDOORI PANEER: Chop paneer in cubes.
  6. Mix in all the ingredients listed for tandoori paneer and marinate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Drizzle some oil in a tawa over medium heat. Place paneer cubes and cook until done, about 30 seconds on each side.
  8. ASSEMBLING THE BURGER: Spread tomato ketchup on bottom and top buns.
  9. Place a couple of salad greens, onion slices, sago patty, cheese slice, tomato slices, cucumber slices, tandoori paneer cubes and chopped peanuts.
  10. Close it with top half of the bun.
