Healthy Carrot Idli

Ingredients to make Healthy Carrot Idli

  • Idli rice 1 cup
  • urad dal 1/2 cup
  • Poha 2 tsp
  • cooking soda 1/2 Tsp
  • salt as required
  • Grated carrot 2
  • water as required

How to make Healthy Carrot Idli

  1. Soak rice and dal,poha separately for 5 -6 hrs.
  2. Grind it separately and mix together
  3. Cover and let the batter ferment for 10 hrs.after the fermentation process is over.batter will become double in size.now add salt and cooking soda.
  4. In idli tawa grease oil on moulds and add grated carrot on bottom .pour idli batter.after add grated carrot on top of the idli batter on moulds.
  5. Cook for 15-20 min.
  6. Healthy carrot rice is ready
