Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boneless chicken 300 gm.
  2. Cashewnut paste 4 tbsp
  3. Curd 200 gm.
  4. Sliced onion 1 large size.
  5. Ginger 3 tbsp grated.
  6. Tomato 1 medium size finely chopped
  7. Bay leaves 2 pcs
  8. Tomato sauce 2 tbsp.
  9. Kashmiri red chilli powder 4 tbsp.
  10. Red chilli powder 2 tbsp.
  11. Cardamom powder 1 tbsp.
  12. Salt as needed.
  13. White oil 1/2 cup.

Instructions

  1. Marinate the whole chicken with curd, grated ginger, chopped tomatoes , 2 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder, salt , 1 tbsp white oil for minimum 30 minutes .
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add oil.
  4. Add Bay leaves.
  5. Add sliced onions.
  6. Fry it .
  7. Add the marinated chicken.
  8. Cook in low flame for 5 minutes.
  9. Add kashmiri chilli powder & dry chilli powder .
  10. Add cashewnut paste.
  11. Cook for 30 minutes in low flame.
  12. Sprinkle cardamom powder at last.
  13. Serve with rooti or parata.
