Ingredients to make Lauki ka raita

  • 400 gm curd
  • 1/2 cup grated bottlegourd or lauki
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • coriander, for garnish

How to make Lauki ka raita

  1. Boil lauki in a pressure cooker with little water for 1 whistle.
  2. Let the steam go off and drain lauki in a sieve.
  3. Whisk the curd well and then add the drained lauki.
  4. Add salt and other dry spices.
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve cold.
