ABOUT Simple fried rice RECIPE

This is one of my favourite tiffin recipes that mom used to make for me in school. I used to ask mom to specially save some rice at night and make these in morning tiffin for me .

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 cup cooked rice
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1 tsp oil
  4. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  5. 1 tbsp coriander
  6. salt, to taste
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok, add mustard seeds.
  2. Add sliced onions as the seeds splutter, sauté till translucent.
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well.
  4. Add the cooked rice and mix well.
  5. Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
