Kelyache kaap...(raw banana fry)

Ingredients to make Kelyache kaap...(raw banana fry)

  • Raw bananas 2
  • Chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Tumeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Rice flour 2-3 tbsp
  • oil for Shallow frying

How to make Kelyache kaap...(raw banana fry)

  1. Peel and wash the raw banana..Then slice rhe bananas length wise..
  2. Now in a bowl mix the red chilli pwd, tumeric pwd,salt,garam masala..Mix them and add it to thw sliced bananas and coat them well..Set it aside for 10 min
  3. Now take the rice flour in a plate and add little salt to it and keep it aside
  4. Place a pan on the gas stove and heat it on medium heat
  5. After resting the bananas for 10 min take one by one slice of banana coat it with rice flour and place it on hot pan..
  6. Add oil as required to shallow fry the banana slices
  7. Once golden brown from one side flip it to the other side and fry them
  8. Once done ready to be served.. Can be eaten as it is or as a side dish along with rice,khichadi, roti..

My Tip:

Pick the bananas that a raw but have just started to ripe..it will.give you a slight sweet taste..
