Ingredients to make Raw banana ghee roast

  • Raw bananas - 2
  • Chopped garlic - 1/2tsp
  • Chopped ginger -1/2 tsp
  • Chopped green chillies - 1
  • spices :
  • Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • dhania jeera powder - 1 tbsp
  • Amchoor powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Kasuri methi - 2 tbsps
  • salt for seasoning
  • ghee - 4 tbsps
  • water - 1/4 cup

How to make Raw banana ghee roast

  1. Cut the bananas into 2 halves and Pressure cook for a whistle alongwith skin.
  2. Deskin and cut into roundels of 1/4 inch.
  3. Take a pan and add 3 tbsps of ghee. Add the cut roundels and fry
  4. Turn the side once roasted. Roast further.
  5. Remove on a plate
  6. Now add another tbsp of ghee. Add the Ajwain first. As it splutters add the chopped ginger and garlic.
  7. Saute till lightly browned. Now add the kasuri methi. Saute.
  8. Add the spice powders. Saute.
  9. Quickly add 1/4 cup water and stir.
  10. Add the roasted banana roundels.
  11. Mix well to coat. Leave for 1 or 2 minutes. Put off the flame.
  12. Ready to serve.
