About Sweet potato Delight Recipe

Sweet potatoes and carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A , vitamin C, manganese, copper, pantothenic acid and vitamin B6. Additionally, they are a good source of potassium, dietary fiber & phosphorus. It helps to cure eye problems, asthma, gain weight , prevents cancer , anti-aging , remove gastric problems etc .Moreover it is no sugar recipe. So overall no compromise with taste and health.

Sweet potato Delight

Ingredients to make Sweet potato Delight

  • For pudding :
  • Boiled and mashed sweet potato 1 cup
  • Boiled and mashed carrot 1 tablespoon
  • cinnamon powder 1 pinch
  • Milk 1/2cup
  • honey 1/2 teaspoon
  • ghee 1/2 teaspoon
  • For Garnishing :
  • pomegranate kernels 1 tablespoon
  • Oats 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped almonds 1 teaspoon

How to make Sweet potato Delight

  1. Take a wok and heat ghee. Add mashed Sweet potato and mashed boiled carrot in it.
  2. Keep Sauting on medium flame. Till mixture becomes like a dough.
  3. Now add milk and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Add honey and Switch off the flame . let it cool .
  5. When it cools completely add in mixer jar and blend nicely.
  6. Pour in a bowl and garnish with pomegranate kernels, almonds and oats to make it a complete meal.
  7. Yummy healthy delight is ready to enjoy.

My Tip:

Instead of honey sugar can also be added.
