How to make Dulche de leche:-
Take milkmaid sealed can and placed in pressure cooker which is half filled with water.
Make sure can should be totally submerged into water.
Let it cook on high flame until first whistle.
After one whistle lower the flame to simmer .
Let it cook for 20 minutes on low flame.
Switch off the flame and let the cooker cool down itself.
When cool down remove the can and let it cool down .
Dulche de leche is ready.
How to make shortbread:-
Preheat oven at 180*c for 10 minutes.
Grease the 8 inches pan with butter and keep aside.
In a bowl add butter and sugar.
Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract,salt and flour to the butter mixture.
Beat until all the ingredients starts to come together.
Take out the mixture into the greased pan .
Spread evenly and lightly prick with the fork.
Bake for 20 minutes or until light brown in color
Remove from the oven and let it cool down on rack.
When base is completely cooled down,evenly spread the Dulche de leche over it .
Refrigerate for about 30 minutes so that dulche de leche settle down completely.
How to make chocolate glaze:-
Cut chocolate into small pieces.
Add chocolate and butter in Microsoft bowl.
Melt chocolate on high power for 3 minutes in intervals.
Stir after every 1 minute.
Evenly spread the melted chocolate over the Dulche de leche and leave to set.
Spread chopped walnuts and dry cantaloupe on melted chocolate.
Once set cut the shortbread into pieces using sharp knife.
Serve these sweet bars to your family and friends with love .
