This is a very light and less spicy chicken gravy dish..

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken 1 kg
  2. Onion paste 1 tbsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  4. Green chilli paste 2 tsp
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. Cumin powder 2 tsp
  7. Lemon slice, green chillies for decoration
  8. Tomato paste 1/2 cup
  9. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  10. Chopped coriander leaves
  11. Mustard oil 2 tbsp
  12. Cumin seeds ½ tsp


  1. Take a bowl. Add chicken, onion paste, ginger garlic paste and mix properly. Keep aside for 2 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seed and the marinated chicken to it.
  3. Add salt, green chilli paste, tomato paste, cumin powder. Cook in a high flame for about 5-6 mins.
  4. Add warm water and cook in a very low flame with lid.
  5. After 10 mins add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves to it.
  6. Put off the gas. Decorate with lemon slice and green chillies.
  7. Serve with steamed rice or Roti.
