Gulab jamuns coated with dessicated coconut

Ingredients to make Gulab jamuns coated with dessicated coconut

  • maida -200 -250 gm
  • Milk maid - small tin
  • Baking powder -1 tsp
  • baking soda -1/4 tsp
  • dessicated coconut - 2 cups
  • oil - for frying
  • For the sugar syrup:-
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar or to taste
  • cardamom -4

How to make Gulab jamuns coated with dessicated coconut

  1. To make dough add milk maid, ghee,baking powder,baking soda,beat well,add flour knead it .make soft dough.
  2. Shape into small balls.
  3. To make syrup boil water in a vessel,add cardamom,and sugar.until sugar dissolve boil,switch off.
  4. Heat oil fry jamuns slowly in a medium flame,drain and keep in kitchen towel.
  5. Then dip in sugar syrup. Take and roll it in dessicated coconut.
  6. Yummy gulab jamuns coated with dessicated coconut ready.

My Tip:

fried and drained jamoons in kitchen paper and drop as soon as in the sugar syrup.
