Reshmi paneer kofta

Ingredients to make Reshmi paneer kofta

  • 1/2 cup grated paneer
  • 3-4 boiled large potatoes
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 2-3 medium chopped tomatoes
  • 1-2 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tblspn cumin seeds
  • 7-8 black pepper
  • 1-2 green cardamom
  • 1-2 cloves
  • 1 tspn red chilli powder
  • 1 tspn garam masala powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 6-7 cashew
  • 1/3 tspn chat masala powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for fry

How to make Reshmi paneer kofta

  1. In a bowl mash potatoes and keep aside. In another bowl take paneer. Add chopped green chillies, chat masala and salt mix properly. Take 2 tblspn mashed potato and make a ball, flatten it on your palm and place 1 tblspn paneer in the center. Gather the edges and shape into a ball. Follow the same process for the remaining balls and keep a side.
  2. Heat oil for deep frying, drop the balls in and fry till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  3. In another pan heat oil. Add chopped onion saute 2-3 minute. Add cumin, black pepper, clove, cardamom stir well.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook well add cashew nut. Turn off the flame and leave the mixture to cool down.
  5. Make a paste of the mixture and add in pan. Add the cream and cook for two minutes and turn off the flame.
  6. Add balls in gravy and serve immediately.
