Ingredients to make Chana Bhatura

  • 1 bowl chhole
  • 5 tomatoes
  • Green chilli chopped
  • ginger chopped
  • Few choppwd corriander leaves
  • 1tblsp kasuri methi
  • salt
  • jeera powder
  • 1tblsp jeera
  • 2 tblsp chana masala
  • 1tsp hing
  • 1tblsp dhania powder
  • 1tsp garam masala
  • 2 onions finely chopped

How to make Chana Bhatura

  1. Soak chhole for overnight.
  2. Now drain and pressure cook it.
  3. Boil for atleast 20 mins.
  4. Now for gravy take a wok.
  5. Add oil in it.
  6. Add chopped onion .
  7. Saute it.
  8. Now add chopped tomatoes , green chilli and ginger.
  9. Boil them.
  10. Now let it cool.
  11. Blend it and make a smooth gravy.
  12. .Now take a wok
  13. Add 2 tblsp ghee in it.
  14. Now add hing and jeera.
  15. Put all the blended gravy into it.
  16. Let it cooked.
  17. Now put all the masalas including chana masala and kasuri methi.
  18. Stirr it.
  19. Now mix the gravy into boiled chhole.
  20. Give 2 whistles.
  21. So that the chanas get coated in gravy.
  22. Garnish it with slit green chilli and corriander leaves.
  23. Serve it with hot bhaturas and raddish carrot grated salad.
