About Paneer butter masala Recipe

An easy recipe of paneer butter masala which can be served during dinner parties, a perfect side dish to be served with some naan or paratha on the side.

Paneer butter masala

Ingredients to make Paneer butter masala

  • paneer - 1/2 cup
  • butter 2 tsp
  • onion 1
  • tomato puree
  • cinnamon 1
  • cardamom 1
  • Kalpaasi
  • cloves 2
  • kasuri methi 1 pinch
  • ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • cumin powder ½ tsp

How to make Paneer butter masala

  1. Slice paneer into cubes and keep aside.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and shallow fry the paneer and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan, saute Cinnamon , cardamom, kalpaasi, cloves,onion for 2 min.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree and keep cook for 5 min
  5. Add  garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt  and keep saute for 3 min.
  6. Add paneer cubes and keep saute for 2 min.
  7. Add kasuri methi and coriander leaves
