About Corn Canapies Recipe

Anyone who loves corn should try this dish.

Corn Canapies

Ingredients to make Corn Canapies

  • ready to use canapies
  • 1 cob boiled corn kernels
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp maida
  • 2 tbsp room temperature milk
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • Few fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Grated cheese to garnish

How to make Corn Canapies

  1. Coarsely grind the boiled corn and keep it aside. Don't make a paste of the corn.
  2. Mix the maida and milk well, note that no lumps should be there.
  3. Now take a pan, add oil then add ginger-garlic paste. Stir and immediately add the milk and maida mixture to it. Keep stirring continously so that no lumps are not formed.
  4. When the mixture gets thick add corn and mix well. Now add salt to taste, oregano ,black pepper powder and mix it well. Keep stirring it well.
  5. If you feel the mixture is sticking too the pan, add very little water and cook it well.
  6. Now add the chesee and cook till its melts. Once the chess melts, turn off the gas and add fresh basil leaves to it. Let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
  7. Fill this mixture in canapies and serve it with some more grated cheese on top.

My Tip:

You can even bake it for a minute after garnishing it with cheese.
